Beautiful motel & grounds.|Staff was friendly when they were there!|Room was clean and comfortable but is a little small overall.No USB ports anywhere.|Some strange rules like: No sitting or congregating in the lobby! Yet they have chairs & 2 sofas.|No breakfast with room cost. Nobody answers the phone after 5:00, not sure what you would do if you can't get into your room. |Parking is a joke...I think they have 10 spots which include 3 handicaped parking,otherwise you park across the busy street at the hospital.|Opus dining looks great but i'm not paying $100-$200 per person to have dinner.|This could be a great destination but is too stuffy and not user friendly.

The perfect winter getaway! We stayed in a "deluxe" room with a very effective fireplace, which was ideal for the weather. In addition, the rooms are exceptionally clean and well designed with plenty of detailed amenities: bathrobes, heated bathroom floors, complimentary snacks, and beautiful walk-in showers. It's quiet, serene, and gorgeous - and only five short miles from downtown Lake Geneva. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had an amazing stay at the Belfry House, with the unique experience of having the whole place to ourselves (only because we visited on an off season stay, Sunday and Monday night). It made for a relaxing and peaceful stay. We were especially impressed with the extra kindness and care of wine and snacks, as well as the complimentary muffins and treats in the lobby. The room was beautiful and well-sized. The added benefits of the fire place and heated bathroom floors were impressive. Check-in was simple. If you’re looking for a more unique and romantic stay (the boutique hotel is for 21 years old and above, no children allowed), this is the place to go! Just a few minor points for improvement: The thermostat is a bit “wonky” with the directions being outdated as compared to the actual remote unit(s). Even though it took a bit of doing, we got everything working properly. The system is quiet, completely functional and comfortable. The hotel provides a parking pass for guests of the hotel but on weekends the parking is a bit of an issue as locals visit the “Opus/Bistro 67” restaurant as well. One presumes this is the inevitable result of having a really good restaurant on the premises. The Belfry House is right off WI Route 67 and as a rule, I never stay near a highway.
