Snug Harbor Inn

Nice campground in a nice location. We checked in late on a Friday and the hosts/reception were very friendly and helpful. Campground is very tight and most of the sites are sort of like parallel parking. They are on a tiered hill from the lake so the views are nice but they are not very shaded or wooded. The bar/restaurant is nice and we just squeezed in for the Friday fish fry, which was good and relatively cheap at least for the cod. We had a friendly server and wish it was open on Saturday but they were hosting a wedding party.

what an awesome place to camp. Restaurant and campground were very clean and well kept. the people were so very friendly. There was road construction making it a bit difficult to get to this hidden, quiet campground. plan to go back!

Party of 10, reservations @6pm, seated promptly. 2 people late in party & they waited over 45" before being served their Friday fish fry. Party of 6 people received their food before our 2 & they ordered after. Hostess said they had another large party coming & we had to leave our table. We were finished but had to wait 15" before receiving check. Fried walleye was good but thought the people were rude.

Very quiet and peaceful. Always something going on at the restaurant. The staff is top notch! We always feel so welcome when w come. We need a few accommodations and they are always ready to help us. The grounds are always clean and the food and drinks are delicious! Highly recommend. Best Friday Fish Fry around!

Sadely, we were not wowed. When you are asked if it's your 1st time staying, you say "yes" then add that you love to stargaze, so if they have a great spot open, we would love it. ( we got a site with a porta potty and a 500 wt lightbulb 35 ft away, surrounded by 50ft pine trees) As we pulled into our site we see a fishing lure, hook and bobber along with beer bottle tops, dog poop and a very unsafe angled firepit. Dig holes, just big enough to twist an ankle and lastly, huge tree roots above ground to menuever around as you exit out your rv door on a step hill, also there is NO wifi. The campground was not busy and had the entire 3rd level open. Site 306 was a good spot of the stars and the lake. Sad, we could not experience that. I gave it 2 star for a restaurant and bar on site.
