The Beacon Inn

Great updates in our room. New ceiling, cute new lamps, updated countertops, larger fridge since our last visit. As usual room was very clean and staff was friendly and welcoming. We will always love the vibe here. It is like a blast from childhood.

The Beacon is the perfect location for the beaches or shopping in Lewes. The staff is truly friendly and always answers questions. Restaurants are in walking distance too! There is also a Wawa within a couple miles if you need their coffee! ❤️

This was our first trip to Lewes so selecting a hotel was a blank slate. We also booked this trip a bit last minute, which meant we were willing to take what we could get for a decent price. The Beacon Inn was therefore such a pleasant surprise. The hotel and its decor are a perfect match for a picturesque beach town. From the physical keys to the delightful manager with our reservations printed and ready to go, to the adorable beach decor, everything was just so delightful. It’s not ultra- modern, and that’s okay. It is preciously what it is and we loved it. Plus, the WiFi was fast and reliable, the lobby coffee was great, the pool was well-kept. We have been coming to Lewes and staying at The Beacon for years! Staff is wonderful, pool is really well maintained, rooms are always clean, coffee is always hot in the lobby. It's been fun watching the property evolve over the years, seeing the updates as they occur. Can't wait for our next stay!

I love staying here. Everyone is so friendly. It's very clean place. My only issues are I wish the bathrooms would have a nightlight and the beds are very hard, where as I prefer softer mattresses. Overall I love staying at the Beacon.
