Hotel Blue

My husband and I recently stayed at Hotel Blue an Adult only boutique style hotel located in Lewes DE. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful if we needed anything. We choose to stay in a one-bedroom suite, which felt both luxurious and incredibly comfortable. a cozy living area that opened up to a lovely private balcony, and even a cute dinette space. But the real showstopper was definitely the fireplace! You could enjoy its warmth and glow from both the living room and the bedroom, which made the evening incredibly relaxing and romantic! You enter into the separate bedroom through the beautiful mirrored French doors. I loved their stylish seashore decor which made me dream for upcoming summer beach days!

Hotel Blue is a fun place to visit with a ton of character. We arrived well after 9pm and were welcomed by the receptionist who waited patiently for our arrival. It is a peaceful place nestled between short walks to the beach and the Lewes historic district. The rooms have thoughtful designs and decor; from the studios with koi/lily ponds to the tower suites with balcony water views of the Lightship Overfalls, boat yard and Front St. on the Lewes & Rehoboth canal. The accommodations cater to the comfort of their guests, with some unique touches that are too numerous to list. We stayed for 2 nites, but could have easily spent a relaxing week enjoying the hotel's ambiance, beach and the attractions in town if we had the time. We can’t wait to return to this boutique hotel. From the moment we arrived, until we departed, we felt relaxed. Staff was amazing, helpful, and fun. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony with the calming view of the canal. The Queen bed was comfy, and the room was quiet at night. (Only gave four stars for the room because the tv was ancient, so it was very blurry. We didn’t watch much tv, but they need to upgrade to Smart TVs.) The Wheelhouse and Irish Eyes restaurants are super close, and offered great drinks and food. We walked into town numerous times, which was great! We were in Lewes for the Rehobeth Jazz Festival, and Hotel Blue’s location was perfect! Can’t wait for a redo next October!

An absolute gem of a boutique hotel. Beautiful, spacious, exceptionally clean and nicely designed rooms/ suites. And perfectly located in the town of Lewes. Walk to many good restaurants and just 2 blocks to the town beach. Service ie wonderful, friendly and customer centric. And reasonably priced for the level of losing facility it is.

Came to this hotel while on a birding trip. The other two towns I stopped in, I stayed at ComfortInn hotels. They get the job done, but aren't necessarily anything special. This hotel has a lot going for it though -- the front staff are exceptionally friendly, it's nearby a lot of great restaurants (recommend Striper Bites in particular, got a whole lobster for $25), and close to the beaches and Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge. They even have a list of restaurant recommendations if you're indecisive like me! In the rooms, they have a fireplace, a nice spacious bed, and a balcony. It was clean and well put together. Only thing for me is that I think it's better suited to couples and romantic nights -- I was a solo traveler looking for an interesting experience. I enjoyed it thoroughl
