Wonderful experience and thankful to have been there. 1. Toilet tank ran non-stop. Would not fill…. toilet could not be used 2. Spicket on soaking tub loose and could not get hot water. 3. Dead bugs in light fixtures above sink A. Room size is great B. Loved the layout C. Staff is awesome D. Good feel about the place

Fantastic!!!!! Impressed as soon as we walked in the front door. Historic, tasteful, charming, bright, friendly staff. We were there for a long weekend. Selected a corner room, 208, super clean and comfortable. Tasteful decor. We passed on cleaning services because we are tidy but saw them always about. Towels were fresh and absorbed very well and plentiful. Windows opened for fresh air, shower was clean and spacious, we loved the entire experience. The Bar/Pub area lovely, we just had drinks and chatted with folks, next time we will try the food (it did look delicious) Staff friendly and helpful. This was my 2nd stay at Rodney. Such a charming place to stay and as a guest treated like family and with kindness by all the staff, this time, it was Taylor who checked me in and made things comfortable. The adjoining restaurant Rose & Crown is convenient and the food and service exceptional.

As locals to the area, my husband and I chose to stay at The Hotel Rodney as an overnight option while attending some recent late-night events in Downtown Lewes. We found the staff to be super-friendly, attentive and helpful. Our room on the top floor was situated at the end of the hallway, so it was reasonably quiet save for some loud conversations going on in the hallway at times. We found our room to be modest and clean, equipped with vintage-inspired decor. There was a mini-refrigerator in the room that was very convenient. The original building site also has an interesting history, which we also liked.

It was a lovely stay with the exception of how thin the walls are. At 2 AM we were woken up by the snoring of our neighbor. Had to put on some white noise on my phone and we could still hear it. We also heard them talking before we went to bed. For that reason, we probably won’t ever stay there again.
