The Beaches Guest Rooms & Cottages

Stay here as a travel nurse. Amelia was so accommodating and was very helpful and resourceful since it was my first time to maine. She made me feel like it was my home away from home. You need to stay here if you are in the area.

This was a last minute trip so I just booked where I could find available in the area. Amelia was a pleasant and helpful host. The room was clean and looked recently remodeled. We did miss having an ice machine and the air conditioner was rather woeful (and at times loud) for the size room but for travelers on a budget, we would definitely recommend this place. While it was on the main road, it was for the most part quiet and we slept well here.

The location is perfect and close to everything- the rooms were extremely basic and walls paper thin so when booking this place just know what you are getting into. We just needed a place to rest our heads so it did the trick - the mattresses could definitely use some upgrading however. Good for a 1 or 2 night stay.

Easy booking and smooth checking in. The price was certainly reasonable. Our room was clean but dated. The beds were comfortable. There was a fair bit of road noise from Hwy 1. And the noise from adjoining rooms was fairly noticeable. My main complaint would be the shower that dribbled out, the whole bathroom smelt earthy and felt a little like we were at a camp facility. But the price was right!

My family had a great stay. The motel is in a great location close to shops, restaurant and about a mile and half from the beach. The staff was friendly and room was clean.
