Atlantic Oceanfront Hotel

We only stayed for a night, but it was such a wonderful stay! We stayed in a room with an ocean view and OMG was it beautiful. Getting to watch the sunset and sunrise from our hotel balcony was magical. All staff we encountered were friendly, rooms were clean, and the room rate was fair. I really appreciated that they leave an envelope in the rooms with the housekeeper’s name on it, so that people don’t forget to leave a tip. Businesses that care about their staff are important, and as a person that used to work in a hotel, I can confidently say that this is not something you come by in any of the major chains. We really loved the Atlantic Oceanfront and are hoping that next time we travel to Maine we’ll be able to stay again for more than just 1 night!

Perfect oceanfront ground level room with a great view as you sit on the high top and windows do partially open with a nice breeze and ocean sounds. No balcony but that was fine for our one night, easy access to beach - like 20 steps. Room was clean and easy to get to. Small fridge and Keurig was perfect. One full and one Twin bed was a plus, small bathroom but water pressure was good and hot. Parking was challenging with a large vehicle but it’s on site so close to the room. Easy checkin and checkout. Will definitely stay again.

Room was clean, updated and location was right on the beach. Pool available to guests during season. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful. Loved their system of no contact housekeeping. Aqua tub outside your door to request supplies but don't need room cleaned. Very smart. Great location to see beaches, Boston, Nubble and so much more!

This spot right on Wells Beach is magical. The beach is right outside your front door. We travelled with some friends and enjoyed three days at The Atlantic. The front desk team is wonderful, the units are well equipped and very clean and it's got a great vibe. Rooms are not fancy, but rather well thought out and they have everything that you need for a great, laid back beach vacay. |Next time, I would spring for an ocean front room as the opportunity to sit on your balcony and watch the ocean would be worth it. |Note for those of you who are new to Wells Beach -- bring your own beach towels and beach chairs as the beach is completely self serve!

The room was very good and the balcony had a great view of the ocean. You are able to leave the hotel and walk directly out on the beach. Staff were very helpful with some additional information and suggestions on local resturants, which were all great and reasonably priced. We will definitely book this place the next time we go to Maine for a vacation. Parking is on site and good for vehicles up to a mid sized vehicle.
