The Beach Club on Madison Avenue

Cons: No cable TV, internet lagged for streaming. Need adapters to charge devices, no USB ports. Can hear other rooms flushing their toilets. Have to check in several blocks away at their flagship hotel. 15 minute walk to restaurants. Pros: Room was clean and had a nice sized fridge, microwave, and Keurig. Renovated bathroom.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at the Beach Club on Madison in Cape May. We chose this hotel due to location, availability with king size bed, positive reviews, and photos posted online. The room was very welcoming and clean. It had a small kitchen area that provided plates, bowls, and silverware, a keurig with coffee pods, microwave, and refrigerator. The bathroom was beautiful, bright, and clean. Although higher that we usually spend, the price was comparable to other hotels in Cape May for the time of year but we chose this hotel as the atmosphere from the photos felt right. The location was very convenient to everything in Cape May although away from it all so the area was nice and quiet. The only noise we heard were footsteps from the guests upstairs and they were minimal.

Positive: "" Negative: There was sand in the bed. Were the sheets clean? The TV did not have Live TV nor the ability to watch NetFlix or Prime Video. The dark ages.

Went end of September. This was our first time staying here and we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were accurately depicted on website and very clean. I did my usual antibacterial wipe down and am happy to say it was all good. Bathroom was spacious and ample towels were provided. The kitchenette area was nicely appointed with decent size refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker and dishes. Everything look new. Pool area was nicely kept and looked inviting. It was only a short walk to shopping area and restaurants. It was a great value. I would suggest to request room on the second floor as we had some noisy folks above us. Highly recommend!

This is a surprisingly luxe experience for what is basically an upscale motel. Fabulous value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. Very attractive pool and hot tub area. Well-appointed rooms with a generous sized fridge. Could really stay for a week or so given the set up. I will definitely visit this hotel again.
