The location of this hotel is fantastic - at least, in part. It’s close to DuPont Circle, in an area that felt safe and clean (albeit expensive). However, there is a bar/comedy club in the basement so just be aware of that. The main issue, for me, was that the rooms are really pretty bad. I did check the beds for bedbugs when I got there, as I had read another review that complained about this. I didn’t find anything. The linens were clean and smelled good. But the room itself desperately needed renovation. I did have to kill some sort of bug that was climbing on the wall. With that being said - I understand it’s a cheaper hotel. What really sealed the deal for me is that the WiFi is awful. I could not work and had to relocate. Overall - if you’re on a tight budget, I would recommend it. H

【Pros 】|• Great location. Dupon Circle area is a very good place with so many café and restaurants. You feel safe walking around even at night because there are so many people and shops. Also, the Dupon Circle station is very near to most of the major tourist attractions such as White House, the National Gallery, U.S Capitol.|• I paid USD $85 per night, which was a good deal considering the location||【Cons】|• Really bad service quality, especially from the receptionist. |Of course, it depends on each receptionist, but if you are not lucky, you end up not having your room cleaned for 2 days even though you ask them to do. On the 2nd date, I asked the receptionist guy to have my room cleaned while I was away during daytime and he said “ok”, but when I came back, the room was not uncleaned. I

A complete and utter dump. The rooms are sparsely decorated. We found a centipede on the wall. It isn't old and quaint; it's old and icky. The worst part was the service. I reserved rooms with the hotel itself a month in advance and PAID FOR THEM. We had four rooms. Three required double beds because they were to house four college students each. When we arrived, we were told there were no double rooms available. The Desk clerk shrugged and said that we picked a bad time to visit. The result: people had to sleep on the floor. What's more, we had to fight just to get our charges reduced from double rooms to all queen beds. There was no restitution and not even an apology. In addition, the hotel is unkempt. Bags of garbage, spare linens and assorted boxes are piled in sight of the lobby. It

Stay here 3 nights. The hotel is good located, to a "walking" distance to all of the point of interest, and also the subway. So, okay, the room are quite old, but mine at least was renovated and in pretty good shape. For the price, it defenitely worst it.

Location is superb but other than that, it’s a standard 3 star rating hotel. I think they can improve on cleanliness and the bed sheet.
