The Anchor Motel

First of all, the rating for the Anchor Motel is much too low!!! It should be a "5". My husband and I just stayed at the Anchor Motel in Narragansett, RI. It was GREAT! Perfect location. The beautiful Scarborough Park Beach was right across the street. The rooms at the Motel were very clean and comfortable. Very well appointed with the Beachy theme! Christine took very good care of us during our stay. Check in and out was a breeze! Many restaurants are close by, one of our favorites was "Celeste".

Love this place, first time here, right across the street from the ocean. The rooms are nicely furnished with beach/nautical theme. Christine was wonderful in assisting us with our door code. Definitely stay here if you have the chance, so close to many restaurants, shops, ferry, etc. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Perfect location across the road from the beach & easy drive to Newport! Hassle- free reservation & Check-in to an immaculately clean room. I only stayed overnight but was very pleased with the accommodations. Apart from an occasional odd hum from the heating system (I'm a light sleeper) the only sound I heard was the waves.

No better place to stay to enjoy the beautiful Scarborough Beach in Narragansett, RI, then from right across the road. Room offers the amenities we appreciate--refrig, hair dryer, ample toiletries, comfy bed and TV/cable. A perfect stay.

Wonderful stay here and will definitely return! Motel is directly across from the beach and a short walk to the Cliff Walks. What a beautiful walk and amazing views! We had Room #14 and had a direct view of the ocean. It is on a 2 lane road, but very little traffic here in April. The Room was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. We had 2 queen beds, 2 sitting chairs with a table and a small refrigerator. The beds were so comfortable and very appreciated after a day of traveling 4 hours and then walking. Very close to Ferry, which we were taking over to Block Island the next day. Very easy check in and check out. Christine and her staff made sure we had all we needed to be comfortable and relaxed. We will absolutely be going bqck!
