Great location being right across from the water and beautiful on the outside.. but that’s about it. The lobby looks recently updated, but the rest of the hotel smell like mildew mixed with cleaning fluid. The bathroom is super small with only one person being able to fit. Our TV didn’t work and staff was unable to accommodate another room due to no vacancy. The amount of money being charged per night, you would think they would put that money into renovating the rooms and hallways. Needless to say, we were beyond disappointed and will not be staying here again.

Very convenient location. Room was clean, but needed to have a dehumidifier running. The rug was dampish, and there was a strong mildew odor. Unless you put a sign out to clean your room, they will not come in.

Pricing changed (became much higher) as I was booking. The price was substantially more than historic beautiful beach hotels within 2 miles. The room was ample and clean. The furniture was very tired. The bathroom was very tight. I couldn’t stand in front of the sink because the toilet is situated in front of it. The Location of the hotel is not right on the beach as purported. There were utility lines and brick buildings in my view. And I had the room that claims the best views. The deck is standing only and didn’t feel secure. The walls in the hallways and entry to my room were banged up, probably from luggage from the summer’s traffic. The staff people were helpful and efficient. Because of the $400/night rate in late September and the claims of being a unique hotel, I thought I would

We went to Naragasett for a wedding. Everybody was from out of state. The bride & groom didn't lookup or read the reviews. They choose this place because the reception was at The Towers. I came from Texas and came a day earlier so I could tour Newport and Naragasett. The room was clean and a beautiful view of the Gazebo, The Towers and the Ocean, that's about it. I called twice to try and book my reservation, spoke to people that took my info, but Kate never returned the call. Went online and tried again, called spoke with Catherine, she took the info and I booked for three days. The hotel doesn't give AAA or AARP discounts, even though it was off season. The hotel was empty the first two days, a few family and friends booked one night of the wedding. There was no microwave in the room and
