The 404 Hotel

My last email to this place!!||||While I appreciate the $250 credit, I feel this is not acceptable for the environment we were subjected to during our stay at the 404 hotel.   We only stayed here for the duration of our reservation so that we wouldn't have to come out of pocket to stay elsewhere.  Although, I will say, we were very tempted to just leave and eat the cost of another hotel.   The 404 hotel is grossly misrepresented on your website compared to the actual property / amenities.  Our stay was extremely unpleasant, and we were disgusted by the lack of cleanliness and care to this place.  The fact that we couldn't even get a response to fresh towels being replenished or heat being fixed led us to not lodging other complaints as it appeared it would have fallen on deaf ears.||||This

more like the poor 0 poor… most disgusting hotel i’ve ever been to. You can clearly tell the people who “run” this hotel just gave up on it. The rugs in the entry way and “living room” were the most disgusting, dirt filled rugs i’ve ever seen in a hotel. The walls were not clean at all, stains absolutely EVERYWHERE. In room 3 in my bathroom, there was boogers all over the walls. My brother in room 5 had ANTS all in his room (he never had food in there) so obviously there is no care to even have a pest control come. We had asked for towels and heaters etc and nobody ever came to help us but claimed there are people who come clean? This place is not worth your money at all.

My friends and i recently stayed a few nights in Nashville’s Gulch neighborhood. We chose a very small but convenient and hip hotel called 404 Hotel. Turns out it was a great choice. The rooms are large with super high ceilings and great beds and bathrooms. There is no front desk and no onsite staff. You access the building and your room with a key code sent with your emailed confirmation. We never saw the housekeeping staff but the rooms were reliably cleaned and the towels and linens changed every day. The hotels parking was right next to the door and was free, making a reasonably priced quality room an even better deal. Highly recommend the 404 for friends or families without young children looking to pass some time in Nashville.

Our stay at the 404 was incredible, Its a boutique hotel with just 5 rooms total with all the hotel amenities, You are given a key pad code to get into the hotel and your room which is super convenient rather than having to keep track of a key. The location is great for you to explore The Gulch and the walk to Broadway isn't too far at all. Both areas have tons of bars and restaurant options including lots of shopping. The hotel was very clean and you get access to complimentary snacks, fruit, coffee and tea which came in handy during the day. We stayed in a king bedroom with a loft and it was plenty of room for three people. Overall great service and the hotel manager was very sweet and helpful in directing us with places to go and see in Nashville!

The 404 hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of the gulch. It’s close to all the shopping , restaurants, and tourist attractions. We arrived after midnight and had a hard time finding the hotel, we called kellie and she answered and made sure we got into our room. The staff was very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. They also provide snacks and water every day which is uncommon. The rooms have a lot of extra touches, like robes, sound machines, etc. The rooms are awesome, quiet , and clean. We will definitely stay here again. The only critiques I have , is that the rooms do not have curtains on the small windows. I am used to sleeping in a pitch black room, and our room was a lot brighter than preferred.
