Thatford Hotel

Not clean. They checked me into a dirty room. The whole thing feels pretty sketchy. Looks like they invested in some nice photography for the site and paid for some fake reviews. Also the whole place smells like cigs. FYI FOR TOURISTS. This hotel is less than a block away from the entrance to the Projects. My cab driver was super careful about letting me out right in front of the hotel door.

First of all, we went there 14.40 and they told us that the check-in time is at 15.00. We respected the rules of course and went outside because there was no place to sit and wait. We went back at 15.00 and checked in. The staff gave us our room key and our room was still being cleaned so we had to stand there for 15 minutes because we couldn’t sit. Because they just cleaned, when we entered the room, the floor became dirty immediately and nobody cared to clean for 5 days. They give just one tiny shampoo for 2 people and because they did not renew them everyday, we had to ask the front desk to send us some. Also, we used the same towels for 5 days because nobody checked our room. The bed was super uncomfortable. Everytime I moved, it made a very high metalic sound which awakened my partn

May be the hotel is new but we had a horrible experience here. Just out of the hotel it was all garbage around we couldn’t sleep at night due to loud noise of music people partying whole night. There was no microwave in the hotel no closet area to hang clothes we absolutely didn’t like that being a traveller. A customer wouldn’t only appreciate bed but if someone is paying $180 per day absolutely basic necessities are expected. Would not recommend this place at all they said parking will be there but unfortunately there wasn’t we had to park in the road completely unsafe.

This was a nice clean cozy hotel, new and affordable. Walls are a bit thin as well. I decided to stay here because it’s wasn’t to far from my Morning destination. It’s a nice hotel but my stay was cut extremely short because of the young people yelling and fighting. Unfortunately because of the location it may not last because the young people are going to make it a terrible experience for there guest

My stay at the Thatford Hotel was good. The only problem was the heating and trying to swipe the key card to get in the room. Love the night staff Arshiya, she was very accommodating and pleasant. She helped me with any issues I had with no problem. Kudos to her, I would come back and stay here again.
