I do not recommend it for family use, if you can pay a little more, better use another motel, I chose a 2-bed room with smoking option since there was no other option, because we are 3 people, my observations: 1) The card readers do not read, it takes too long and we tried 2 rooms. 2) Very bad service from the Indian receptionist, she wanted me to accept the defect of not opening with the card. 3) The shower key was not fixed. 4) The bedspreads were not in good condition. Despite being a low-price motel, these things are essential and inexpensive that they should fix. It should be a good hotel for the location and for honoring the name Texas, how sad and annoying that a motel is bad..

Holy moly how does this hotel have 3 stars? This had to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my entire life and I am well traveled so that's saying a lot for me. From the moment I walked into my room, I was overwhelmed by the smell of mold. The rooms were all "booked" for the night despite the fact that I saw literally no cars in the parking lot which made me feel uneasy just seeing my rental out there in the open. There was no hot water and not even a liner for the shower curtain so it did absolutely nothing to keep the water in. There were stains on the chairs and furniture. Stains on the bed. Feels like bagdad no pool, no breakfast, false advertisement. This a private owned hotel. Looks like they’re remodeling but it’s been years this way. They just making a mess. No AC in lobby. The “truck parking” is just a dirt lot next door not their property. So don’t expect safety. Park at stay at own risk. Great location if they would take care of the facility. Feels like a no growth business. Depressing

I stay here every time I come visit my daughter who has a terminal illness. I don't have to wait until 3 pm when I arrive at 4 am. Nice area, clean and reasonably priced. Thank you for making my hard times easier!
