Terra Motel

PROS!!!Actually I had my reservations about the regulations being that I respect my privacy. However house cleaning on a daily basis turned out to be appreciated! And the towels wash cloths are replaced and quality. The walls are thick and the cable stations and WiFi are excellent!! Nice old fashioned reserved quaint! Bathroom room is modern and shower has great water pressure! Lots of rules but worth the comfort! Cons!! Not a lot of cons

I was calling around all day to get best prices on weekly rates finally thought I found a decent place to possibly stay and the gentle man was completely rude saying I was too vague on what exactly I was looking for as far as weekly rates even though I clearly stated twice I was looking for a weekly rate on a one bed room for one person , he said "Seeing as your being vague in what exactly your looking for I'm not interested in offering you weekly rates " as he hung up on me. 🤨 So out come not sure if it's cheap or what but the customer service score is definitely poor.

Propert landscaping is nice, get in the room and you go back to 1965 , dirty wallpaper , rugs , outdated bathroom . Bargain basement mattress, banquet hall chair to sit on .room is small , good for 1 person . 2 people it’s very tight . ||TV is a joke , WiFi is slow .

I stayed in the Terra Motel on the recommendation of a Hartford friend in 2006, and now again for two days in 2012. It is a small old family-operated motel set behind the businesses on the west side of the Berlin Turnpike just south of Hartford in the township of Wethersfield. ||||The rooms are old, simple and clean, with all-tile bathrooms, stand up showers, flat screen TVs and WiFi. No road traffic could be heard. In front of the motel are a classic old stainless steel diner, and an upscale restaurant called Elaine's. It was only 5 minutes south to to a Starbucks in Newington and 5 minutes north to Trinity College.||||The location and amenities are unbeatable for only $55.

I own a Chinese Herbology School and have many students who need to stay over for my week-end classes. The Terra Motel is set back off of the Berlin Turnpike, so noise levels are cut way down. Most rooms contain table and chairs and refridgerators (no cooking). There are lots of resturants availble, some within walking distance as well. A family run motel, I have always found them to be very good at helping with reservations and special requests. The cost for one person is unbeleivable at just $45.00 and the rooms are ALWAYS clean and well maintained.||
