Motel 6 Wethersfield, CT - Hartford

Would give zero if I could. Upon arrival until departure it went from bad to worse. Office was locked upon arrival and we had to wait in car until someone came back to open the door which took about 20 minutes. Had I not already booked it and paid online I would’ve left. Seemed like lots of people were living there. We finally get to our room and there’s no comforter, no top sheet and the thinnest pillows I’ve ever seen in my life. Lots of noise at night and all night. People yelling and stomping around the whole night including at 4 am. Car alarms going off repeatedly. Next day I walk over to front desk and see a giant pile of what looked like junk/trash with a woman going through it and a man in a van wearing a full face swimming mask. Ok that’s weird. Why?? This is hands down the worst place I have ever had the displeasure of staying. Upon arrival there were unsavoury characters lingering around outside. We went into our room (non smoking) and were greeted with the stench of marijuana, which seemed to get worse with the bathroom vent on.||This is a complete catfish, it looks nothing like the photos in the advertisement. The room was dirty and looked like the scene out of a horror movie. We were given one thread bare towel between two of us and the tiny “queen size bed” had one and a half pillows on it. Who knows what happened to the other half of the pillow, it was completely missing and looked like a machete had been used on it. The toilet seat was covered in razor blade slashes. Positive: Nothimg Negative: Yes, the ceiling above the bed was leaking water. When I went to report it, they told me they would move my room and they never did. I am requesting my money back for that night. It was miserable and uncomfortable.

Close your eyes and imagine deciding to get a room for the night at motel if you're traveling through the area and need a good night's rest. You check in, get to your room, look around and find holes in the sheets from cigarette burns. You look in the tub and there is a gaping hole in the side wall of the tub. Imagine a ceramic sink that is forever stained red with only God knows what. Imagine needing to get some sleep and the people above you have a dog that barks all night, and kids that thrash and stomp on the floor to no end. Imagine a dirty floor with hair all over it. Imagine being scared to go to your car because of the sketchy people outside of your room. Imagine walking on the premises of the motel and slipping on a sheet of ice and breaking your hip, or leg because no one
