Surfside Motel

Totally wonderful! We had visited other motels, checking out rooms before we found this gem. The others had rude staff, dirty and tiny rooms, and high prices. The Surfside has a friendly staff always asking if you need anything and available to meet you at the office. The price is right. The rooms are clean and spacious. We are between places right now and we feel at home and safe here. Just a nice cozy space. The desk in the room is a nice touch. There’s also a sofa couch so you have somewhere to hang out and watch tv instead of just sitting in bed. The sink is outside of the bathroom with ample counter space for all your products. The refrigerator is larger than a mini fridge. And there’s a microwave. Super clean. Also, there’s something really special about the beach and boar

We had just arrived and checked in. The woman at the desk was the rudest person I’ve ever met. I booked 2 rooms one family room and one regular room…. Check in is 3 pm…. We didn’t get our family room until 5pm because it was being cleaned. Meanwhile we were rushed to check out when it was time so they could clean the room. The rooms were musty and bathrooms were very small. Had to hold down the toilet lever until it flushed all the way. The air conditioner started to smoke and the repair guy took it apart and cleaned it. The only thing good about the place was it was close to beach and boardwalk. Never again

Positive: Primo location!Looks like newer pool chairs! Last time, chairs were broken and not enough Negative: Needs upgrade. Paint jobs for sure. Ceiling tiles replaced, doors and AC more secure .. parking, it's free, but very Very cramped. outlet plate in our room was cracked, kind of scary .. but overall, it was fine.. great location, and pool was clean :)

Surfside motel was a great experience!! My friends & I wanted to take a lil trip to the shore to go crabbing but we couldn't afford anything too expensive and close to the water. I found a place on booking.com that seemed to be reasonably within all of our means. BIG PLUS IS THAT SURFSIDE MOTEL IS ONLY a 5 MIN. WALK TO THE BEACH AND BOARDWALK!!! We arrived at Surfside Motel and we were all pleasantly impressed. The room was clean and roomy (there was 5 of us) 2 king beds, a comfy single chair and a loveseat, Vanity area on the other side of the bathroom wall (thank goodness I despise putting my makeup on when it's still steamy from the shower lol), fridge, nice big flat screen tv, the normal motel setup BUT LEGIT CLEAN AND BED LINENS WERE ON POINT 😊😊 The 5 of us were very happy, satis

The rooms are what you would expect for a motel at the Jersey shore. But I do have to say is the rooms were clean. The only thing is it did take a while for the room to heat up with the heater. But also the location was great right by the boardwalk!
