Sunburst Motel

Very clean room, attentive service even during off-season in extreme winter conditions. Walking distance to Captain Hooks restaurant and bar and 7 Eleven. Was down only overnight but enjoyed the clean room and friendly service. Special thanks to Buoy 16 Motel who were closed for season who I called first but they still called me back after my inquiry for a reservation and after being told they were closed for season I asked for a recommendation for clean lodging in Seaside Heights and they referred me to Sunburst which lived up to their description. Thanks for a great experience.

We stayed here for four nights, while visiting the area for our nephew's 50th birthday celebration (this location being only about 2 blocks from his home). |The facility has an old-school, well-maintained, local motel ambiance. |Our unit (#53, located in the section a short distance from the main complex); was clean, compact and comfortable. Its location also allowed for fairly easy loading/unloading of our luggage. |Note: if one has mobility issues, as we do; upper floor rooms require the climbing of stairs. |The father/son duo running the operation were friendly and accommodating. |Being ole fartz, we appreciate that effort is taken in directing the establishment to a more family oriented, less rowdy uber-partying clientele. |All and all; a solid option, if one is seeking clean and comf

I love staying at the Sunburst with my family! The location is fabulous and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. Butch and Tyler ALWAYS go above and beyond for their guests and Mr Fisher (one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met) is always willing to offer up his belly for some therapeutic rubs! The cleaning crew is amazing too! We have been staying there for the past 6 years and can’t wait for our next stay ! 😀

We recently stayed at the Sunburst Motel. It was a wonderful experience! The staff was helpful and friendly. The maids were amazing. The room was basic but extremely pleasant. The location was perfect… walking distance to restaurants and stores and less than a block away from the beach..The pool is beautiful and they have a grill.

Best smelling motel room I've ever been in, and it was clean. Owners are kind and welcoming, including the sweetest dog that's happy to let you pet him or not. He won't bother you. Cheers.
