Colony Motel

trip: Aug 30th - Sep 2nd. Our stay was great. Motel is close to the boardwalk/beaches, within walking distance. Microwave and refrigerator provided. You can hop on the sky ride (not sure of the name) and be in the middle of the boardwalk in a few minutes. The motel has beach passes available to sign out. The rooms could be updated, but didn't effect our stay. The pillows are thin, but we brought our own so no effect. The staff was amazingly pleasant and helpful. The rooms are cleaned daily. It has a nice pool, coffee from 8am-supplies run out & free parking. Roku provided, but the WiFi is a bit choppy. I did a speed test, only could max at 3mb/s, barely enough to stream. We weren't there for TV or internet. Just a heads up if you plan to stream or work from "home". Don't be discouraged b

Everything was perfect - very clean, owners are constantly checking to b see if v you need anything or if you have any problems, housekeeping immaculate, love courtesy coffee every morning, bed and pillows very comfortable. the pool is a giant plus as is the proximity to the beach (3 minute walk) AND complimentary beach bashes! would definitely stay there again.

What a wonderful motel! The owners (Sonny and Ron) are their every single day and are extremely helpful. Sonny is so personable, friendly, incredibly sweet, and she makes you feel at home. The rooms are comfortable and most of all clean!! You can tell they take pride in the appearance of their business and their property. Our expectations were blown out of the water. My kids loved the pool and we can't wait to see Sonny and Ron again!

This past week we stayed at the Colony Motel and are mini vacation was perfect! Sunny the owner greeted us upon arrival and made sure everything was great throughout the stay. The room was cozy. She put us on the first floor because of the our 10 month old baby and older tween boys. It was super easy to maneuver, the stroller on the first floor with a handicap ramps. The room was clean, shower was refreshing after the beach. The fridge worked and the microwave was new and clean. Coffee and tea were served every morning family style out at 6:30am until the big coffee urn was empty. The pool was super clean and not crowded at all. They even had a grill and picnic tables if you wanted to grill. Location is perfect, short walk to the board walk plus CVS right across the street. Beach pas

I had posted a poor review before talking with new owners and I am bad. I reacted before giving them a chance to take care of my concerns. The next day they took care of everything. Just goes to say when you talk you can resolve issues. They did a great job with my issues. I want to apologize for my old review, I should not have written it.
