Would have rated the place three stars if it wasn’t for the theft. Front staff was no help with the issue either. The room was ok at best and the shower was warm enough to take one. The location was convenient for metro lines but is definitely a bad part of town and not family friendly. Being a cheap last minute booking we knew not to expect much but save yourself the same trouble (and your stuff) and book elsewhere.

I just needed a decent, clean room to stay the night in Brooklyn for a songwriting/music trip for 24 hrs. This hotel fit the bill for me. Not expensive & a clean, comfortable room. Would recommend though the neighborhood could make some feel a little insecure. I'm used to that gritty feel of cities like Oakland, Philly & Baltimore. I had no issues at all.

The receptionist told me after arriving after 1:30pm that my room will be ready soon thought that was a good start, not, I then notice the out of service note on the elevator thus requesting a room on the first floor. Waited in the makeshift breakfast area where no breakfast is served due to covid...not one chair was available to sit and wait. I got my key after about 15 minutes, entered the room and was greeted by terrible cigarette smell. I went back to receptionist who walked with me to 2 other rooms that also stink of cigarette smoke and they didn't have refrigerator or microwave. 4 was the lucky # finally a room that didn't smell like dome1 just finish smoking in it. That was a daily thing when I return in my room its stink of smoke, had to keep ac going and spray out the room. I re

My experience a this place was okay. My friend and I came from a roadtrip so our standard was very low and we were happy with any place to stay basically. The price was okay for what we got. Pos: room was spacious, bed was comfy, bathroom was not to bad - everything you need for one night. Neg: the receptionist was not very helpful with any questions we asked. Also, when you walk in there's only notes and signs about which things you'd get fined for and what is not allowed.. not very welcoming. The walls are very thin and we got woken up by the very noisy cleaning staff or whatever was going on in the hallway. Considering that this was (even though we paid 100$ for the night) the cheapest option in NYC it was alright.

I didn’t stay here. I walked in my room and immediately walked out. The entire hotel smelled like cigarettes. Per policy, you have 20 minutes to receive a refund after checkin. When I walked back downstairs, the receptionist was nowhere to be found. It’s how they scam you. The best part- the receptionist made me call Hotels.com to receive my refund and lied about their phone number for Hotels.com to reach them. While trying to get a refund on my room, I watched a man literally smoke a cigarette in the LOBBY of this “non smoking hotel”. I rarely write reviews, but this place was atrocious. Everyone that works here are rude and malicious. Do NOT book a room here.
