SureStay Plus by Best Western San Antonio Fiesta Inn

The fridge did not work properly and wasn't cooling for the food we had with us and we had to get use ice packs. We notified the front desk 4 times during our stay and someone came to check. We were asked if we wanted to move rooms, but we did not see the need to move if they could bring another fridge to the room on our 2nd day there. Told us to give them 2 to 3 hrs because their manager had the key to get the updated fridges. We left the hotel and came back and the fridge was not changed out. So for our five day trip no working fridge. The ac unit does not cleaned better. There is dust and possible mold spores. I like the fact they come by to get trash, refresh towels and bedding daily. Few times we did not require it the bedding changed, but it was good they checked if we needed items.

We checked in earlier than the 4pm check-in time and the desk clerk was so helpful. She noticed that my husband had some mobility issues and offered a handicapped room on the first floor, instead of a second floor room we were originally scheduled in. Staff was very helpful and gracious, room was clean, breakfast was average, exterior landscape and parking were in good shape. Neighborhood had plenty of restaurants, fast food, shopping and easy to get to.

Positive: Attractive, clean room, nice towels/toiletries, beautiful pool, helpful staff, good breakfast. Walking distance from convenience store and Mexican food Negative: Lighting a little dim, bed had depression on one side

Most unfriendly desk clerk that I have come across in 3 months of travelling. Rude and argumentative. Quick tempered. Ill suited I would think for customer service. Every question I asked seemed to get on his nerves. Made me feel most unwelcome. Rooms were so so and the location does not look very safe. First and undoubtedly the LAST time I book this hotel.

The staff was very helpful. The bed was clean and so very comfortable. It's not a luxurious hotel but it was nice. There's a fridge and a microwave. Again the bed was awesome. They also have free breakfast which is great when you have kids.
