SureStay Plus by Best Western Roanoke Rapids I 95

I had some family stay for a couple nights and they had left some brand new clothes they had just purchased in the closet of their room. They still have the tags on them. They didn't remember until they were already on the interstate headed back home, and never thought to call and ask about the clothes at all. They mentioned something to me about how they had left their clothes in there closet of their room almost a week later And I asked if they ever tried to call about them, of course they hadn't so I made them call right then and sure enough room service had found all the brand new clothes still on hangers with tags on them and their closet and room service left them up at the front desk. We had a late check in on our way to Myrtle Beach. I booked ahead. Beds were comfortable. Staff were all very nice. Breakfast was lacking but we were planning on going to Oscar’s anyway.

The rooms were dirty, it had something smeared on the walls and on the chair. The lights in the bathroom didnt work at all. Toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall. The paint was literally falling off the wall same with the curtains. The food area was also dirty. Any time I went to the desk to sneak help no one was around. A basket was left out for keys. I will not be staying there, it certainly was over priced.

Well, the first impression is its nice and clean. However, not the case. Our room door wouldn't open because it wasn't properly on the hinges. Then when we got into the room, I turned on the lights and there was a cockroach on the dresser. Being it was almost midnight and we had already been on the road 10 hrs we did stay. I definitely wouldn't stay there again. The rooms definitely need an over haul! The staff was pleasant. There breakfast could have been better. Especially for $130 for not even 24 hrs. Never again!

Positive: The 1st room my air conditioner was leaking water on the floor but they upgraded me to a suite which was nice overall it wasn’t bad for the price for a short stay. Negative: The pool wasn’t clean and the breakfast wasn’t good . It was just ok.
