Hilton Garden Inn Roanoke Rapids

Stayed here last minute last December. Had a great experience with our dog. Very pet friendly, we received a room convenient enough to take the dog out without a lengthy walk to the elevator/stairs. It was very quiet, area around the hotel had room to walk around. Only complaint is we prefer firmer mattresses but in fairness we have yet to find a hotel with a firm supportive mattress; the mattress here was on par if not above par with other good hotels.

This hotel was fantastic! It was immaculate and beautifully appointed. Its location was right off of 95, allowing for easy in and out. However, the very best thing was the incredible staff. They were warm and welcoming and extremely helpful. Keonte was our server in the restaurant and he was a shining example of what a person in his position should be - friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was very good and we were very glad that we did not have to go searching for an off-property restaurant after a very long drive.

Positive: I was easily accommodated another room that better served my needs and I am thankful for that. All the staff were professional and very polite, to include staff and the lady in the kitchen. Negative: The only thing I could say is that I ordered a steak and the lady that cooked it was sweet as can be. I did not bring this to her attention, but I ordered it medium and it came out rare in the middle. I ate it anyway. It was late and I was tired.

My family(2 adults and 2 kids) stayed here overnight. Selected/paid for the breakfast option. Went down in the morning and was told it was only for 2 people and no bacon or sausage. We should have read the fine print but don't think its out of line to assume it would have covered the number of guests you entered on the reservation. I feel they should make it easily known on the website. We did not take the breakfast and was unable to get a refund. Staff was nice and room was nice but the breakfast situation left a sour taste in our mouths.

What a nice place to stay at for our trip from Florida to New Hampshire One of the nicest hotels in North Carolina I would definitely be staying here again The front desk gentleman was as nicest can be when we got there at 10:00 at night apologize that the pool wasn't open and that was absolutely fine we were going to bed anyway wicked clean! Real nice hair products in the shower!
