SureStay Chula Vista

I booked this hotel for 2 nights and had an excellent stay. From the ease of the check-in to the great staff that accommodated every need I had during my stay, I am completely satisfied with every aspect of this hotel. My room was clean, convenient, and spacious. The bed and pillows comfortable, and a good selection of TV channels to choose from. The most impressive thing however, was observing how hard the entire staff works at maintaining the property and how well all of the staff work as a team to ensure that their standards are met. I stay at a lot of hotels, and its rare to see a hotel staff operate as a team the way this one does! I will absolutely stay again on my next visit to the area!

I stayed here on Dec 4th, I was double charged for the room, I booked thru Viocom and was properly charged by them, then the next day I was charged by Best Western, I contacted the hotel and was originally told I booked two rooms, Then I received a call from the General Manager telling me his employee mistakenly removed the VioCom booking and that is why I was charged by Best Western and that I needed to contact VioCom as he could not remove the charge. I contacted them and have heard from them and they told me they contacted Jose at the front desk and that a credit had been issued. That was on 12/20 and today is 12/28 and no credit has been issued to my card. I should never had to go thru this they should have immiadetly issued me a credit. Seems like this hotel is scamming me.

*Safety Violation and Failure to Honor Resolution* A hotel maintenance employee entered our room with a master key without knocking while we were inside. At the time, my friend was undressed. The employee left only after I screamed. This is a serious safety and privacy issue. Management acknowledged the incident and offered to comp one night of our stay. That refund was never processed. Despite repeated calls by both myself and the travel agency, including escalation to corporate, the hotel has not responded and now claims no knowledge of the agreement. Safety and accountability should be basic expectations. This hotel failed at both.

WARNING DON’T STAY HERE, BED BUG INFESTED. THEY ARE IN THE CARPET, UNDER THE BED, THEY CRAWL UP THE WALL, AND ONTO THE BED, AND FIND YOU, AND BITE YOU. Bed bugs find you at night by sensing cues from your sleeping body, primarily the carbon dioxide (CO2) you exhale, your body heat, and your scent, allowing them to locate you in the dark for a blood meal, often between midnight and 5 AM. They don't necessarily wait for you to fall asleep but emerge when it's dark, using these signals to navigate from nearby hiding spots in mattresses, headboards, and furniture.

Positive: Bed was comfy. TV was good. Breakfast was limited, but good with juice and coffee options. Coffee was excellent! Room was dated, but clean. They have plenty of electrical outlets. Towels were nice. Negative: ""
