Days Inn by Wyndham Chula Vista/San Diego

I was doing a trip for a friend’s birthday and decided to stay at this Days Inn. We all had some difficulty parking as the spots were pretty small as is custom in the San Diego Area. As we got out in the parking lot, we see several prostitutes walking from different rooms. Not a great first impression… but we head to the lobby to check in, and we are told the room we booked “does not exist”. We are offered 2 different room with the same bed requested. We check the rooms, and they are uncleared, with the bedsheet with various stains. The bathroom is filthy with more stains and odor. We had initially gotten the room through Priceline and wanted to look to get a refund. The management is now refusing stating they offered “better rooms” than why was previously requested. The front desk associate, Prince, provided exceptional customer service during our two-day stay. His attentiveness and professionalism were truly outstanding. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met with a friendly demeanor. This level of service significantly enhanced our overall experience. We highly recommend engaging with him for any assistance required at the front desk.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Restroom had hairs of all different types. Somebody tried to steal my kind converter in the parking lot. The refrigerator had a buzz that did not let me sleep. The towels to dry yourself are very small overall disappointed in the whole night spent there.

PLEASE TAKE THIS WARNING, DO NOT BOOK. I am filing a formal complaint regarding my recent stay at Days Inn by Wyndham in Chula Vista. The condition of the room was unacceptable and DEEPLY DISTURBING. The bed appeared to be infested with bugs, and there were roaches actively crawling throughout the room. The bedding showed visible dirt, dead bugs/feces and footprints. Surfaces appeared to be excessively coated in bleach, and the furniture and bed were in extremely poor condition. The overall cleanliness was so alarming that we did not feel comfortable even checking the bathroom facilities or touching anything after lifting sheets.
