Superior Motel & Suites

Nice place to stay and nice to have a full kitchen with 2 separate bedrooms. We stayed 4 nights. It’s not fancy but clean and comfortable and close to everything. Also nice that we could have our dog with us.

I don't think that I have nothing positive to say about this place. A bit pricey for what it is. I dont think this Motel has been remodeled since day one. The rooms are very old with badly fitting windows shades,we had to put up sheets over the shades to keep people from seeing into the room. The room itself are so this that you can hear people outside talking, and every single vehicle drive by. The water in the sink does not drain properly. It takes a good 5 minutes for the water to go down once you've used it. By the time you are done taking a shower, you'll be stand in water above you ankles. Perfect location that’s close to hiking paths and boat cruising leaving from munising bay. The hotel is very outdated. The best feature is that you can open windows. Everything in the room must be completely demolished and redone including the bathroom. Beds are super uncomfortable, there are no hooks or handlebars to hang anything especially the towels. Imagine a family of 4 taking showers and you can’t hang wet towels to dry anywhere. They don’t clean rooms which is fine and I can live with using the same towel several days but then install something to hang them. I am pretty sure it’s a simple task. Breakfast - don’t rely on it! It’s a gimmick. Plenty of parking outside which is a plus

It is a great price compared to some other places nearby, but we got back late from our cruise to find out the pull out couch bed we needed was on a slope so you could feel blood rushing to your head, so slept the other direction. Didn't find out until morning that the fridge and freezer weren't working well. Drinks in the fridge were warm and the bag of ice in the freezer became a bag of ice water. I asked for a cold drink to go out of the cooler in the office and they said no, only the apple juice was free. They didn't offer any amount of a refund, just a "sorry"
