Pictured Rocks Lodge

My 18 year old son and 22 year old daughter and I enjoyed a beautiful few days at Pictured Rocks Lodge this summer. The house and grounds are beautiful, set in a woodsy area yet convenient to stores and activities. We enjoyed hiking the trails along the cliffs of Pictured Rocks and kayaking in Lake Superior for a close up, eye level view of the colorful rock formations. This home is perfect for a large or small group to enjoy the activities the area has to offer.

I found Pictured Rocks Lodge looking for a rental for at least 8 (two families of 4.). We only needed three nights and most other houses were week rentals only. The Lodge turned out to be better than expected. It was a beautifully maintained property inside and out. The split bedroom layout offered plenty of privacy for our two families and the nicely appointed kitchen allowed us to cook meals and prepare for our delay excursions. The only down side for us was leaving because we loved the area and convenience to the trails and Munising. When we visit this area again I hope the Lodge is available because we would love to come back.

Very comfortable house with everything you need yet out in the woods with trails. Stayed there with eight family members in August 2018. Heard barred owls hooting in the woods at night. Cottage was clean. Enjoyed the deck, running the trails, a campfire as well as the awesome Pictured Rocks nearby.

Beautiful place. Nicely appointed home. We were greeted with a welcome note and cookies, which my kids loved. Highly recommend.

Pictured rock lodge was a great quiet place to stay we really enjoyed it so much. Close enough to visit everything we wanted to see and do.
