Super 8 by Wyndham San Antonio/Fiesta

This is one of the utmost best affordable hotels in San Antonio all around. The employees here are the absolute nicest, most helpful, and very caring ppl I have EVER came across when I was staying at a hotel. The 2 front desk ladies in the afternoons, are such sweet, caring, helpful, friendly, and know what true good customer service REALLY is; they also have GREAT personalities and have wonderful senses of humor, they enjoy cracking jokes with customers and making us and themselves laugh and smile. They ALWAYS are the first ones to say "hello! Welcome to super 8!" AND they've ALWAYS tell us to "Have a wonderful day/afternoon/evening/night/morning!" AND they've dont ever forget to say "thank you!" I have fully enjoyed my stay here since I first came to stay at this super 8. I will DEFINITE

Positive: Checking out. Negative: Free breakfast was juice, coffee, and a muffin. No daily service. Need towels? Have to take your wet ones to front desk to exchange. Could have been much cleaner. Light bulbs in the room out. Alarms went off twice in the middle of the night. Pass!

Broken shower head holder in accessible room broken. toilet not anchored to the floor. Vent in ceiling of bath missing and dirty vent. Room smelled very musky. Older property. Only breakfast item available was coffee. Juice was all out. ||||I will say that the stay was thanksgiving weekend. The staff was very nice.

Although the service was decent, most everything else outside of that was not good. The stairwell was very dirty, it didn't look as if it had been vacuumed in months. The room wasn't much better. The linen al had a funky smell and the floors were stained. The door, 100% true, was being held together with black duct tape. The beds were okay enough to sleep on, but not very comfortably. The ad said there was breakfast offered, but there was none.

The only positive was proximity to travel destination. The first room we were placed in had live roaches crawling on walls and floors throughout room, they switched our room and it had soda cans on bed frame and when we woke in middle of night, again live roaches. We spoke to management and they were going to have someone check room while we left for the day. We returned and nobody had been in the room, we checked out because live roaches were on beds. The entire place had filthy carpets, elevators and rooms. Management was not helpful, this place was beyond disgusting.
