Super 8 by Wyndham San Antonio Pearl District / Downtown

The Hotel was in a convenient area, the people that lingered outside in the parking lot where of a questionable crowd. The rooms were disgusting. The sheets were stained and even smelled dirty. The carpet had trash and obviously had not been vacuumed. The tub had a ring of dirt and there was dust on the edges of the tub. THERE WERE ROACHES ON THE COUNTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been staying here off and on for over 5 years. If you want a great deal on an up and coming Hotel The Super 8 by Wyndham Pearl district is my choice so far this year. With some recent ownership changes leading to some management and staffing changes, The team here is exceptional. It's difficult to find a consistently caring staff anywhere anymore. These folks somehow have been trained with The attitude that they'll make it happen for you. They seem happy and are polite and professional. The New ownership with a new vision has some upcoming surprising changes. I'll say no more. So combine Great people, New and continuing renovations, and a location that gives you quick access and front door bus service and then extremely competitive pricing, you would sell yourself, your choices, and y

If it hadn't been late when I got a good look at the room, I doubt I'd have stayed. Mara at the desk was working hard, getting myself and another guest checked in at the same time and had to verify a room was available (3rd party booking, reserved rooms get reassigned all the time). The room was in serious disrepair with divots in the floor, curtain coming off the hanger, holes in the ironing board and the iron hanger ripped completely out of the wall, broken coffee maker with no coffee or cups provided. Safety features were scary: peep hole was caulked over and the smoke alarm had been replaced with a wadded up napkin. I'll be sure to check these things BEFORE taking a sleeping pill in future. At it was, I left before dawn to get home and shower the place off me.

BED BUGS! The rooms were disgusting. My room smelled like perfume covered smoke. I didn’t even want to take a shower because the shower was so gross there’s no way it could clean me. and worst of all. BED BUGS. I woke up covered in bites. I’m paranoid they could be in my luggage and infect my home

It was dirty ! Front des k people not nice at all TV wasn’t working we have to walk to the front desk 5 times to report the tv ! It’s raining we couldn’t go out so we decided to stay and watch tv!No coffee and they advertised free breakfast but off course it was nothing We at least expecting coffee!Finally after 10 pm they said we can move to another room!And smell so bad , no towels and the bathroom dirty and they were no pillows! It was a nightmare but we couldn’t leave because it was raining bad! !
