Super 8 by Wyndham Saginaw

Rooms are very nice, staff is very friendly, it is under new management and new team is working really hard to keep the place bright and shiny , absolutely reasonable price compared to all the other hotel motels nearby. I would definitely visit again with my family.

This has been the worst experience I have ever had in any hotel. I came here to work in a nearby hospital, and just needed a comfortable place to sleep.|Lobby smells like stale smoke even though it’s “non-smoking”.|I reserved and paid for the hotel room AFTER 4pm. The desk clerk said to me “if you get your hair dye on any of the linens, you will forfeit the deposit.” Okay, that’s an interesting way to broach the topic. |Yet, when I went to the room upon arrival, it was filthy. Absolutely disgusting. It smelled stale and dirty. There was food on the floor, incredibly questionable stains on all of the sheets, comforters, blankets. Positive: Location Negative: The outside door didn't lock, you could just walk in with out using the key card. Not safe

We checked in, got to the room & immediately left. The hallways smelled like marijuana. The original room key we were given was for an occupied room. The 2nd rooms door could barely close properly. Trash under the beds, awful smell, spots on sheets. I felt unsafe to stay with my 2 children there - and my children also felt unsafe. I told the check-in employee that we are not staying & he refused a refund & only offered another (3rd) room. My advice is to spend some extra money and stay somewhere safe & CLEAN & in good working order. EDITED TO ADD: Received an email from Super 8 denying they refused my refund & saying I didn't try hard enough to let them know about my problems. Tried to call front desk on way to hotel for 1 and a half hours before someone answered. Room was dirty. Sidewalks were never shoveled. Not a good experience.+
