Super 8 by Wyndham New Orleans

I really love how beautiful and clean the hotel was! I know some people mentioned room service had skipped cleaning their rooms while we were waiting at the desk to get a room (multiple people). We tried it out because we were tired and the service was really nice. I like the painting and aesthetic a lot. My car felt safe here too. I would probably come back if I end up back in town.

Positive: Room was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was simple toast, cereal, oatmeal juice/coffee, but loved having a waffle maker. Pool was clean & great to use on a hot afternoon. Close to RTA bus stop, was perfect to get back & forth to the Jazz festival. Negative: Area is is industrial and residential not close to restaurants walking distance but taking the bus to get to other areas of New Orleans worked out great.

This hotel was absolutely wonderful. The staff very professional the room was exceptionally beautiful brand new super clean at a great value great management very safe. The breakfast is average but the coffee is good. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I was pleasantly surprised. This is my first time in New Orleans but the reviews did not lie. The rooms were clean and beds. The only con was hearing the drunk people coming from their cars looking for their rooms or accidentally setting their car alarms off…I also did not like the fact I had to call down and get more towels and our room wasn’t serviced the whole time we were here. I would stay here again. The location is central to a lot and I am looking forward to the next trip!

This place is extremely run down and even more so dirty… we stay at a lot of Super 8 hotels and this was by FAR the worst. The star doesn’t care, the cleaning crews care less. It’s in a sketchy neighbourhood and didn’t feel safe. We couldn’t find anywhere else as it was Mardi Gras but we’ll be going home to shower 🤢 my husband is a platinum Wyndham member and we’ll be letting them know that this place uses their name for a disgusting mess of a hotel. The sink was plugged and left dirty, towels stained and dirty, smoke detector was falling off the wall, the bathroom was far from clean, everything is falling apart, the breakfast room was filthy and absolutely everything was covered in built up dirty finger prints. Absolutely yuck! We will NEVER be back! 😡
