Super 8 by Wyndham Natchitoches

We enjoyed our stay. We were visiting a nearby college. The hotel was conveniently located. It was clean very clean. Everything smelled fresh a true non-smoking room. Access was good. The only thing is the bathrooms were incredibly small. But that was a part of the construction but other than that the bathroom was clean towels nice and fresh the bed just look good smell good but of course no bed is like your own bed. But we did enjoy our stay there I give them five stars for the price that we paid it's a five-star the breakfast was good it was a five star giving us a good start and we just really appreciated it five star.😎

Positive: Location Negative: Inexperienced front desk staff. Over charged on room night, pet fee and deposit. Internet did not work and staff did not know how to reset modem. Staff was untrained on operating hotel while manager/owner was off for weekend.

If you’re looking for a hotel that offers unexpected wildlife encounters, this might be the place for you. I personally got the full safari experience when I had to kill a roach in my room. Very hands-on. Very immersive.|The room itself is a charming time capsule—if that capsule stopped updating somewhere around 1993. The décor says “retro,” but not in the fun, intentional way. More like “we gave up and hoped no one would notice.”|The bed was impressively uncomfortable, like sleeping on a motivational quote understanding of a mattress. Just firm enough to keep you awake all night reflecting on your life choices.|The bath towels… oh the towels. Nothing like stepping out of the shower and being greeted by a smell that makes you question whether they were washed or just encouraged to dry fast

We arrived at our room about 8pm. We asked for a king size bed and it was a small bed, it was just my wife and I. I slept on the other bed. But it wasn't bad . We got up the next morning. I went down to the Continental Breakfast which was Bad no fruit just packaged blue berry muffins and cinnamon rolls, orange juice and coffee. The manager stood behind you and watched your every move. The motel needs to be remodeled. But other than that it was OK. I am a member of the Wyndham rewards program and had to pay $168.00 a night and a couple behind me not a member paid $89.00 a night.

The only thing nice I have to say about this motel, was the lady who worked at the front desk. When we first arrived, apparently we were booked for an upstairs room and my mom is handicapped so we had to have downstairs. She was able to accommodate that. I had two rooms booked for a total that was over $300 Which I’m sure to be counted for because of the time of year that it is and all the Christmas festivities in the town. When we walked down the hall, we immediately smelled pot, and noticed that there were bleach stains all over the carpet leading down to our room. When we got to our room, we saw that there were patched walls in the bathroom, mildew, hair on the pillows, and something brown on the curtains that looks suspiciously like feces. I told my children just to endure we did notic
