Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Natchitoches

We were greeted when we walked in the door. Very efficient check in . Very clean hotel Good breakfast. Received a courtesy call to make sure our stay was going great. Yes, our stay was great Check out was another great experience.

This hotel was disappointing. Exterior was rundown and nothing that you would expect from a Marriott property. Although they were doing renovations inside, the exterior looks completely neglected and I almost left upon arrival. The person who check up in was nice and friendly and the room was acceptable and clean. When we were ready to check out the next morning at 9:30 am there was no one in the front lobby and a sign to call if you needed to speak with someone. I called number, it rang repeatedly, no one answered and the person who was sitting in a side room never move or acknowledge us. Very disappointing stay with Marriott.

Even though we where in front of the elevators, it was not bothersome at all. We had a very pleasant stay and slept great! Customer service was great and informative. Upon check in reception was kind and let us know about attractions and restaurants in the area. She was very helpful. As far as rooms, they are clean. One and ONLY, is not enough shampoo and soap. But no big deal, we could of asked for more. We only stayed a day, so not a big deal breaker! Thank you for a wonderful stay gals!

We want to commend the staff, especially Jeremy Wilson, on providing exceptional service! Early in the morning during breakfast someone accidentally caught a pastry on fire in the toaster. The fire alarms started sounding throughout the entire hotel. Confused guests all started heading to the lobby and then the fire dept showed up. We were in a handicap accessible room so the strobe light started flashing and wouldn't turn off. All through this, along with guests also trying to check out, Jeremy Wilson maintained his calm, and solved every issue that came along. Truly impressive! Every time he saw us for the rest of our stay he greeted us as friends, and that was truly wonderful! We will be back, for sure!

Excellent customer service at check in and checkout. Loved the spread at breakfast- which speaks highly from a lactose intolerant person. The website was very clear about the renovations so not surprised that the gym lacked esthetics- still operational which is all that matters. Would definitely stay here again!
