Chateau Saint Denis Hotel

We booked a non refundable room and showed up at 8pm to find out they couldn’t figure out if they had a room cleaned for us. After very little help or discussion from the front desk we left receiving a refund. The front desk wasn’t very friendly. She barely looked at us or spoke to us. This would have been our second time staying here (no issues the first time) but we won’t be back after this kind of poor service and hospitality.

Recently visited this hotel and it was a lovely peaceful stay! The hotel itself is beautiful and located in the perfect location. After an 8 hr drive it was just what I needed. I was greeted by the front desk staff with a smile and check in was a breeze! I was given a parking pass to lay on the dash of the car and room keys and went on my way! When I made it into the room it was nice and cool inside which I can always appreciate. I was a given a Junior suite so I even had a couch to lounge on to watch tv! Everything was so nice, fresh, and clean. The bed was super comfortable and they even offer breakfast and it was really good! I would definitely stay here again should I come back through Natchitoches.

I've stayed here every years for the past 8 years for the Madri Gras ball. The hotel is run down and in need of a decent overhaul. Only 1 of the 2 elevators was operational and that one was iffy. I understand the broken evelator has been down for 3 weekw. For the second straight year, after being issed room keys, the keys stop working and had to be reissued. The staff was excellent as always. The front dest staff was really great. For the amount of the room rate charged, the hotel should be able to provide better service/conditions.

At first this hotel seemed very fancy and clean. Later to realize this was one of the worse hotel experiences I’ve ever had. 1st problem was finding a parking spot. Their tiny parking lot had already filled up and their second parking lot was shut off and there was no where to park. 2nd when we arrived to our room, there were no toilet paper and one of the toilet paper holders were missing. Secondly the shampoo dispenser was ripped out of the shower. Next problem, no tv remote. It might not seem like a big deal but I always play the tv in the background as a noice cancellation and they had none. I called room service about it and nothing could be done. When it was time to go to bed our neighbors were taking a shower and snoring loudly which I couldn’t sleep with so I headed down stairs to

10 out of 10—would absolutely do it again and highly recommend! There aren’t enough adjectives to describe how perfect this experience was. Mallory is AMAZING—one of the sweetest people you could ever meet. She was incredibly helpful and genuinely kind. There was also another young lady serving breakfast who was pregnant; she was so warm and welcoming and truly made us feel at home. The maintenance man even thought he was a 49ers fan he was nice. The entire STAFF was GREAT I absolutely loved everything about this place. I’m already booking my reservation for July, and there will be no other place I stay when visiting Natchitoches. The room was perfect, and the view—OMG—beyond amazing!
