Super 8 by Wyndham Harlingen TX

has a serious mold problem, absolutely reeked, and i'm not even that sensitive to mold. in the lobby they tried to cover it up with some kind of perfume, which only added to the toxic air. I will say the sheets and towels were clean, so the housekeeping staff is doing their best but my clothes reeked of mold and i had to wash everything when i got home

This is the worst Wyndham I've ever stayed in. The location is the only redeeming quality. We were visiting family. No phone in the room, no coffee in the room, no soap, shampoo, no remote control for the television. I asked multiple times for it and received nothing. The Front desk blamed housekeeping. My family came for breakfast and the waffle batter was empty both days, coffee was empty. There was a sign that said they would be out for the next 15 minutes on the front desk. The breakfast they offer is all sugar or bread. The hard boiled eggs didn't smell fresh and may of been refrigerated for several days. The building was under construction and the pool was closed. This place literally only offers a clean bed and shower. It's not worthy of the Wyndham brand and I'll

Two-day stay was great. Hotel is undergoing lots of exterior and interior updates. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating to every need. Nice little breakfast choices.

Positive: The people were friendly Negative: They advertise the breakfast but when I got down at 8am there was only waffle batter which ran out before we could get waffles and the staff said they would not make more, they had boiled eggs but again were gone before I made it down.

The pictures on the site are false. This place was the worst hotel I've ever been. The rooms smelled moist like mold. The cable TV didn't work. They put me into another room just as bad if not worse. They didn't want to refund me for early check out. I couldn't believe they were affiliated with Wyndham. Im sorry for not taking pictures I couldn't get out fast enough.
