Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Harlingen

Amazing stay. We stayed on a points night before heading to Padre. Fairly new property. Rooms were very clean and the overall smell throughout the hotel was wonderful. There is a nice little lounge and Matt, the bartender, was very nice. He made amazing adult beverages! Hot breakfast had southwest scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fried eggs, sausage patties, waffles, cereal, muffins, yogurt, fruit, variety breads, coffee and juice. Welcoming reception, nice little gym and pool area. There’s a food truck but only open on weekends. Near HEB grocery, shopping areas on the other side of the freeway, and fast food. All within a couple miles. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed one night while in the area. The hotel looks new and it is right next to the interstate. The room was spacious and clean. The lobby area was really nice as well. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel but it is available for free. The mattress was too soft for my wife's liking.

Exceptional hotel! Staff was very welcoming and friendly and the check-in process was very quick and convenient. The rooms were super clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The free continental breakfast was a huge plus as it also included a Texas shaped waffle maker 😁. I will definitely be lodging here again when I visit my relatives in Harlingen. Interesting that we are asked to post a Review, but is anyone in command actually reading our posts? Everybody wants a paycheck, but some don't want to do the complete job. I posted the following review concerning protruding nails in the parking lot that went through my sandal and into my foot and could perhaps damage a tire. It has been a few months now and no one from the Head Staff has reached out to me to apologize or Thank me for pointing out this issue. This place is very new. It's so nice to go somewhere that isn't musty the second you walk in your room. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The staff was great, breakfast was good and being that I drive a 40 ft bus, I had plenty of room to park. Definitely coming back.
