Super 8 by Wyndham Front Royal Near Shenandoah National Park

Rooms were clean and sheets were clean that's the two most important things as far as I'm concerned. service was professional and courteous. It's not a five-star resort. It's a layover a stopover but it must be pretty decent because the parking lot was full (right?) I would stay again and again and again if I was ever up that way again

It is what it is. It's less than a mile from Shenandoah National Park. The rooms are clean. The shower floor was old and stained. The AC worked well. The beds were comfortable. It was quiet. Desk clerk was nice. I needed a cheap place for two parents, a kid and a dog to stay the night and not break the bank. It served it's purpose. If I was staying a week in Front Royal I'd probably stay elsewhere. Under my parameters, I'd stay there again.

Very pleased with the cleanliness from the lobby to our room. Bathroom exceptionally clean two double beds, crisp, white sheets. Breakfast was adequate with a variety, but would have enjoyed a little breakfast sausage. Staff friendly. Definitely would stay here again.

Positive: Locaion Negative: Dog smell, uncomfortable beds, dirty hallway, sounded like the person in the room upstairs was going to fall through the roof.

I wanted to add one night to a stay for a friend (I was not actually there). When I called what I thought was the front desk I was always directed to the reservation line. This was right at 11 am check out time, so I was rushed. I went through the reservation system, paid, and was given a confirmation number. The manager at the hotel told my friend she couldn't stay another night. Even though i had a confirmation number. Now i have been told I can't get a refund..it was actually 2 rooms. So now im out approximately $180 for nothing. I called the property 4 times trying to get to talk with the manager. He was always "out". He instructed the clerk to tell me. I asked once more for him to call me. Of course he didn't. PS the place is run down and nasty. Very sketchy people han
