Very comfortable campground. It's next to a road, which means easy access, and the road isn't *terribly* loud... so THAT'S good! I found a trail yesterday that led away from the road, and it became very serene and beautiful! I was so glad i went on that walk! I didn't click the kid friendly option on the review because the creek is fairly deep and fast flowing (at least, in mid-April). If you watch your kids, it would be a great place to bring them! And the road so close was the reason this for 4 stars, instead of 5.

I recently stayed for six nights at this beautiful campground along the banks of Gooney Creek. Perfect for those smaller campers, tenters and those who are looking for a peaceful relaxing spot and want to enjoy the beauty of nature. This is an older campground, run by very personable woman who is willing to do what she can to help you out. It is only 15 amp service, but it is sufficient for most things you need to do. Bathrooms and showers are available and although they don't look as glamorous as the higher priced places, they are kept clean. I can't wait to return for 3 or 4 nights over the 4th of July weekend.

Pricing is higher than what is posted online. Seems to have been raised about $5-$10. The creek is wonderful! We stayed for 3 nights during the Hurricane Debbie storm. It was amazing, quite the adventure! We hiked up stream the first day and played around in the little bit of water the creek had to offer. It was in extreme drought condition. However after the storm it was significantly higher, with much louder & swifter currents. Too dangerous to get into. We were the only campers there on our 3 nights. Staff is helpful and nice. Working Bathhouse with toilets (flushing) and hot showers. A small library available. Most all sites have a table, fire pit, and wire grill top to use on top of fire to cook. I would recommend this campground.

Pam was extremely helpful and accommodating for our group! We went tubing at FRO and straight into our group campsite under the bridge after. The location is perfect and everything I was looking for. We had no cell service (the goal was to keep everyone off their phones), plenty of room for our vehicles + 6 tents + 1 hammock + stand up grill and firewood available for purchase on site. The showers, bathroom and sink for dishes were EXTREMELY helpful. Those that complain about the quality of these should stick to KOAs, these are a luxury when thinking of independently owned campsites. We were prepared to hear vehicles on the bridge, so it did not bother us at all, our group site was very private, and we were able to enjoy being away from others. The main firepit sits under a clearing sur

This was a disappointment for us. We're very used to primitive camping. We have 600w of solar and 200amh of lithium, so we're very capable of being off grid. But when I booked it, I guess I didn't ask the right questions. They have sites with water and electricity, but that's not what we're wanting. We specifically got this camper so that we don't have to be connected. I made the mistake of assuming that since they have water and electric sites that I'd be able to get some water so we can do dishes, flush the toilet, and small little water uses like that. But nope. We booked a primitive site and they wouldn't allow us to get any water. At $25, you'd think I'd be able to get some water. The camp is very small, very tight, but even though we're a truck camper we're pretty big. The
