Skyline Ranch Resort

We stayed 6 nights in our travel trailer. Site was clean and staff was friendly. We didn't use bathhouse or amenities except the dog park which was huge and very clean. The approach to our site was a little too steep to enable easy disconnect and leveling, but we got the trailer within an inch of level. We'll definitely stay again, but we'll ask for a site with a more level approach.

I loved staying at Skyline. My family in the area visited and enjoyed feeding the petting zoo and having a fire to make smores. I loved having a functional kitchen to cook a nice roast. There were thoughtful things like dish soap. Many timeshares you have to bring everything but a few things were there and nice to have before I ran to the store. ||||It is a camping / outdoor place near Shenandoah mountains so adjust your expectations accordingly. The decor was dated but in good repair and felt right for the setting.

My family rented both a cabin and the resort for a wedding. The accommodations were absolutely deplorable. The reception hall had not been cleaned or set up prior to arrival. The windows were filthy and swarming with cluster flys. The floors were filthy. The couches were also filthy and should have been moved out of the hall prior to arrival. My family had to clean the hall and set it up, moving all of the tables and chairs out of storage. The worst part was that the mechanics of the building were not functioning. The hall is upstairs (no elevator for the disabled or elderly only a gross chair lift). The bathroom was gross and filthy and located on the first floor as the second floor bathroom was out of order. The HVAC was out of order so the hall was 85 degrees. Most of the win

My family rented the resort for a wedding. Upon arrival we discovered an absolutely filthy room. We had to clean cluster flies out of the windows, wash the windows, clean the floor, move the filthy couches out of the room, set up the tables, fix the broken chairs all before the room could be decorated. In addition, Skyline Ranch insisted that we use their catering service. The food was cold and dried out. What should have been one of the happiest day of this family’s life turned out to be a disaster. Did I mention that the event was on the second floor where there is no elevator, working bathroom or air conditioning. It was 85 degrees in the hall by the time the guests arrived. DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE if you want your event to be special.

This was the worst campground I’ve ever been to. The water is brown the people are rude there is a foul smell of cat pee everywhere me and a group of of coworkers seen this place and thought yea I’d pay 900$ a month and get here it’s all lies nothing is true skyline ranch is worth at most 300$ a month and that’s generous! Zero out of 10 experience will not return to brown water skyline ranch.
