Sunset Motel

Location was great however this is a teenagers dream motel. No regulations, no quiet hour, no shutting down of parties. Kids screaming and banging on doors outside of room until past 3 am and nothing is done about it. They say quiet hour is at 11 but don’t enforce at all. Rooms are crappy and door barely locks. It’s hard to feel safe in a place like this and you won’t be getting much good sleep. If you’re 17 however, great price and no cares in the world. Don’t recommend staying here around any holidays.

I went to this hotel years ago, cant believe that it is still open. The absolute worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. Our room was not cleaned upon arrival, when we asked for it to be cleaned, we were told the cleaning person died. There was cigs on the floor, the towels were wet and covered in hair. The bed was in plastic and was uncomfortable and dirty. Then we looked into the dresser and there was a babys onesie with blood on it. Worst experience ever.

Do not rent unless your college boy looking for a flop room after the bsrs. Found this place via some articles including it top motels in the area. The location great walking distance to beach, restaurants, and boardwalks. We are a middle age couple that enjoys daytime bars/beaches as well as night time bars & dinners. We felt like seaside offered this. We didn't have high expectations when booking figuring it was quick wkend trip it didn't matter. The room was gross We bought lysol just to tolerate feet covered in dirt and long black hair on everything. The smell was so bad we could smell it on our clothes when we were out of the room. The door didn't lock from the outside with the key leaving our belongings unsafe. There is a kitchenette but no utensils, microwave, dishes, paper towels.

The worse of my life, the lobby smelled like straight up smoke as soon as you walk in there, the rooms was even worse the smell the dirtyness from the molds in the bathrooms the towels was so dirty and smells it was the worse ever the beds was nasty stains and so hard it felt like I was on a rock. The people needs to close that motel down it’s a fire hazard and the place is molding. Never will I book again NEVER WORSE ONE I EVER STAND IN AND IT WAS FOR MY DAUGHTER BIRTHDAY AND GRADUATION. Never again look before u book please..

Worst motel by far!!!! For the price is not bad obviously but you would think it would be at least decent and it wasn't even that.. Where to begin!. Let's start with the sand all over the floor and the stickiness!! - Staind couch that looks like it's been outside. - hair all over the towels in the bathroom. - no hot water at all. - no pillow covers - TV wasn't working -beds were stiff and uncomfortable!! -and the blankets are like a thin sheet!! I can say it was fast service.. and they were very friendly but as for their rooms it's definitely time for a renovation of some sort!! Don't recommend to anyone!!! Stay safe 🙏
