Sunset Motel

Love this place. The only motel I've been to where the people at the desk are always smiling and friendly. I've been using this place for years. Clean compared to other hourly places. The cleaning lady definitely does more than others. Parking is very discreet if you want to hide your vehicle from the view of the road. I think the bad reviews are expecting a Holiday inn. I've used a lot of motels in my life and this place is by far the best. They just put in brand new AC units in every room and remodeled some other things.

Check in was quick, but the older man (who is the proprietor) kept lurking around the driveway and told anyone who was in the parking lot to go inside. Could have handled situation without being creppy!

Drove from Houston 4:30 needed rest and he denied me and my one year old son. Please dont stay here. No American needs to support those that turns away a child.

Horrible no AC that works one towel that felt like sandpaper carpet felt like a glue stick and besides the pay hourly everything sucked... gross

Its great for what it is. A no tell motel! So bring your girlfriend, or your other girlfriend, or your secretary, but don't bring all three. they'll get mad!
