Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Worth/Forest Hill

I stayed at the hotel for five nights, on business. The hotel was kept clean, from the lobby all the way into the rooms. The front desk, cleaning and kitchen staff were all very polite and professional. The room was a very good size and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn style and selection. Which is to say, very good. Good access to and from the freeway and plenty of places to eat near by. I would definitely stay here again.

When we arrived Friday at 3, December 6th, we were told no working elevator. We 4 are all over 70 years of age and the only cosideration given was a free cancellation for two rooms booked. We were not offered any help getting our luggage up to the second floor|nor were we offered assistance to try to locate another Hilton owned property to stay in. I find this unacceptable in that this was not noted on the confirmation. The only note in red was "we under a renovation and hope you are not inconvenienced" !|I am a Hilton Honors member and these rooms were $185 a night. We were upgraded on one of the rooms but when we entered the suite, it had a smoke filled scent to it. So I called and asked for room freshener and that also was not fulfilled. The front desk lady , didn’t get her name working Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the morning shift was exceptional! She had great energy and gave the best service I’ve gotten from any Hilton property this year! The housekeepers and people working breakfast are all super nice as well. The rooms are recently renovated and plenty of fast food options within walking distance.

Booked for one night, due to bad weather we could not arrive to our hotel. Called to cancel and will not give us a refund or credit. This has never happened to us before. We are a family who travels often for my daughters sports for many years now. Every other place we have booked and have had bad weather happen they have been gladly to work with us. Manager was very rude and unapologetic did not want to hear us out. Refused to work with us in any way possible. Did not seem pleasant about his job! Took him a week to even give us a call back I had to call several times to get anyone to speak to me.
