Sunrise Lodge

If you're in Matagorda for fishing or whatever contact Bink Grimes at Sunrise Lodge and he can hook you up with very nice accommodations. He has a main Lodge on the water with a pool and fishing pier and he has other accommodations like the smaller, but very well equipped Bungalow's in town on Fisher Street that have two bedrooms, a bath. They have a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker for your comfort. They are also furnished very nicely and have DirecTV. There is no stove in the Bungalow's, but there are a few restaurants close by like Snapper's over the bridge toward the beach that has a menu with a good selection. There is the Waterfront restaurant over the Levee at the Marina entrance that has good seafood and burgers, and a couple of other's. Bink also had a guide service hims

Awesome getaway with our company. Clean rooms, plenty of space and 3 restrooms is definitely a plus.

Bink is an amazing guide! He put us on the fish and we limited in no time at all. He introduced me to Waterloo rods on this trip. They are so light you can fish with them till the cows come home.

Great place for large groups. Clean, well maintained and loaded with amenities. Was there recently with a large group and we had zero problems. Look forward to coming back. Bink and his team did a great job.
