Sunflower Inn

A lovely place to stay. Easy walking distance to downtown (1/2 mile). Linda and John are welcoming and kind. Rooms are well done, clean, well furnished and bed is comfortable. Breakfast is made to order between 7 and 9. The best place to stay in Charlovoix.

Jon and Lynda were amazing from start to finish in booking to checking out. They provided clear communication and instructions on what is offered during the stay/how to check in. Helped to get a missed package back to me. Breakfast was phenomenal! Freshly made each morning with a variety of homegrown veggies from their garden. The Sunflower Inn truly is a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of a tourist packed downtown area. If you’re looking to be close to all the action and events but want a quaint and peaceful space this is the perfect spot. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We stayed at the Sunflower Inn for two nights. John and Lynda were the perfect hosts - very communicative, maintain a beautiful and extremely clean home, provided delicious breakfasts and coffee, and with their extensive knowledge of the Charlevoix area, they gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities. We chose the Plumaria room which is a large room with an ensuite bath. It was perfect! The location of the Sunflower Inn is just a few blocks south of the draw bridge in a quiet neighborhood. My husband and I had the opportunity to stay at this gem of a B&B and had a fantastic experience! The hospitality was top-notch, with gracious hosts who communicated excellently starting with detailed check-in instructions. Our room was clean, cozy, and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was DELICIOUS and freshly prepared. Fresh coffee served with heartfelt conversation. The location was perfect, just a short walk to downtown, and the assigned parking was a great touch. We felt very welcomed during our stay. Highly recommend this place for a warm and inviting getaway! * Also, take the Mushroom House Tour!!

Can’t say enough good things about John & Lynda’s hospitality, breakfasts and comfortable inn. We felt like we were at home every time we walked in the door. Morning coffee and breakfast with the other guests was delightful. John and Lynda join in the conversation and offer up suggestions on things to do, places to visit or restaurants to try. Very comfortable stroll to downtown and our own parking place at the inn! Sunflower Inn is a hidden gem in Charlevoix!
