For me and my family this place is AWESOME! We have been here for over a month. Friendly staff. Yummy breakfast. Very pet friendly. And family oriented. The rooms are decent. Sometimes the Wi-Fi goes out. But that's no fault of the hotel. Kate is the nicest staff personal ever. Dan is a good guy to talk to you. Staff in general will go above and beyond what their job titles are. I would recommend this hotel 10 out 10 times. They are very pet friendly as well here. WE LOVE THIS HOTEL!!!!

Positive: Location and price was great. Super clean even though hotel is showing sigs of age bot inside and out. Negative: The bed and pillows are showing signs of age in lumpiness and wear and tear.

This hotel needs a major upgrade. First the positives: it’s clean; the carpets appear to be new; the front desk staff is very nice. However this hotel is very spartan and dark and dingy and looks like it hasn’t been updated in 30 or more years. Barely any furniture. Bathrooms are not made for elderly or people with any physical limitations. Mattresses are horrible. Bedding is very old. Breakfast is very minimal. Price was far too high for what you’re getting. Should be priced more like $125-150 a night. Instead of $100-175 more than that (even off season). Photos online very deceptive. Somehow the reviews are better than the nearby Charlevoix Inn but that hotel is ten times better than this one (I’ve stayed there many times and never had any issue).

Good location, fair price. No elevator. Decent hot continental breakfast. Room was clean and spacious, with a fireplace, desk and comfortable chair. Bed and pillows were soft for our liking. Pool and hot tub were large, good temperature, pretty clean, but the hot tub bubbles were not working. Overall a decent hotel with free coffee and hot chocolate available 24 hours.

Love this place, clean comfortable and friendly. Good pool/ hot tub altho the pool deck is a bit ruff to walk on. Breakfast was OK, wasn't great but a step or two above minimum. Coffee/tea/ hot chocolate available all day. For the price was excellent. I would say they are in serious need of room electrical upgrades. They need to add some plugs and USB chargers. The rooms were built before computers and wireless phones. I like my bed hard and these were soft so thought was going to be bad but probably the best sleep I have had, was like sleeping in a nest. 100% we would go back here.
