Sundown Motel

If you're just looking for a place to get a few winks at a reasonable price, this is it. The||rate is $35/nite for two people. The rooms are dated, but they are clean. They have high||speed wi-fi, frig, & microwave and multi-channel cable TV.|| They also have a neat little gazebo in the courtyard surrounded by a flower garden. ||The gazebo has a charcoal grill and a very neat little fireplace in the center with free firewood for use by the guests.

A miscommunication with a friend led to the previous review I appollogize for the false review the people are incredibly nice and are willing to work with you if you talk it out the location is near a lot of locations and is also good if you want to rest before going back out on the road sorry to the business men and woman who make this place great

Very friendly staff - I was involved in a 15-minute conversation about anything and everything just by checking in. Bluegrass listening sessions by the fire pit (nice smoky smell coming from that way). As good or better rate than anywhere else in town. Generous sized and well appointed room, very clean. I haven't seen every hotel in this town, but I can't think of a place I'd rather stay in this part of Texas.

The people who run this Motel are incredibly sweet. The room is always well cleaned and orderly. It’s located in a fairly good part of town, close to the downtown square. I never saw a single bug inside the room I rented, and that’s always a worry for me when traveling; as I hate creepy crawlies.
