Motel 6 Mount Pleasant, TX

Positive: Nothing Negative: Burn marks in comforters in a non smoking room, dirty, lights flickering, night stand was broken and leaning. Awful.

I’m sorry stayed here last night place has rats everywhere literally there are so many I seen a rat by the laundry room that BIG AHH RAT WAS LOOKKNG FOR A NEW HOME it’s own by people that honestly don’t care that there’s rats everywhere they would call pest control in handle it also the apartments has them too I been hearing complaints this make no sense DONT BOOK HERE AT ALL

Location is convenient right off I 30. There are other hotels in same area and an Ihop right next door. The room we reserved was clean. But, they definitely could use replacing pillows. They are very flat and dingy. The small refrigerator was charred on the top but did work. For the price I'd rather go somewhere else next time.

ac unit itself was broken and stuck on semi cool setting, half the lights didn’t work even after being replaced by maintenance, shower flooded the whole bathroom, dryers didn’t dry clothes, housekeeping boards towels for some weird reason, and some guy would walk around screaming all day. other than that, it’s a place to sleep in a cheap hurry.

My husband and I are from Nevada. We travel all over the country doing safety inspections on bucket trucks for the tree companies. Today, Sunday, we were inspecting trucks in their parking lot. All of the tree workers stay at this hotel, so they definitely get some positive income from the tree company. We had not checked into the hotel yet, and I asked to use their bathroom in the lobby. The gentleman said, "We have no public bathroom." For a minute I thought I was on the east coast! This is the great state of Texas? From all of our travels across the country, we have learned that when they say there is no public bathroom, it definitely means you're in a bad part of town!
