Sundial Inn Motel & Efficiency

Staff was excellent and maintenance fixed any issue as well housekeeping being sure I had what I needed daily. It is a great price for what you get beds are comfortable and rooms clean. I have been staying here a few months and no complaints. Location is great just a few blocks to the boardwalk and surrounded by restaurants and shops. Atmosphere has been amazing yes some noise due to being at oceanfront but hotel itself as been quiet and peaceful. Atmosphere is a vibe on its own something for everyone. Amenities depends on room some come with a full kitchen but no kitchen supplies all other rooms come with fridge and microwave. Office has coffee in the morning and a fridge for you to be able buy sodas if you need too. I am overall happy with this Place shout out to the staff again they are

Staff was great I have been staying here for a few weeks now and no complaints. Front desk staff is amazing answered all questions and always made sure I was doing ok and did not need anything. Maintenance has been quick to fix any issues. housekeeping comes everyday and ask if I need anything. Noise can be loud it is the oceanfront along with jet noise from military bases. Rooms are comfortable and its great stay for the price on a budget if you want to have money to enjoy the beach life. I am overall very happy with my stay.

Positive: The hotel was easy to find, located in the center of the VA beach strip.The part my wife and I enjoyed the most was the unexpected Papa roach concert at the dome located just diagonal across the street. Negative: The bed was a little to firm for our personal preference, but we still managed to sleep well despite that.

Honestly for the price it was a great stay. The room was clean, the staff I talked to were very nice, and the walk was so close to the beach. Nice that parking was included for one car as well. Our room was facing the busy street and there was a club playing music but I had no trouble sleeping. The AC worked GREAT and the room had a lot of TV channels + good working mini fridge and freezer. No complaints from me

So disappointed in this place, we chose this place because they had a kitchenette but you get no supplies to use in the kitchen. Called front desk and they claimed since Covid they were required to get rid of them, we’ve stayed at the Schooner hotel before and they had supplies in their kitchenette so I don’t understand. Our room was disgusting, tub full of hair, the carpet looks like it hasn’t been steamed in ages, outdated furniture and wall decor, ect. Lastly, we’ve stayed two nights and didn’t need housekeeping so we put up the “do not disturb” sign, when I came back, I noticed housekeeping still came in. Horrible experience.
