Sun Set Inn, Oklahoma City Hotel

1991-92 this place was the red roof inn. 2023 when I stayed here the place was called the Hemp Hotel, and I noticed a significant decline in the type of customers, not so much the travelers than those looking for weekly rates. But the place was now ideal in that I could park my motorcycle adventure inside the room raither than leave parked outside in the parking where it would be subject to possible theft. And now in 2025 the place is called Sun Set Inn. No longer provides room service its rooms are not universal the same as another some have roaches , the linens...ehhh and electric needs be tripped back on occasional, the cable TV is not as many channels but one can still park their motorcycle inside the room provided it can fit through the door.

Tried this hotel in spite of the negative reviews - we were not disappointed. Manager allowed us to view the room at check-in. Renovations are in progress, and room was spacious. Fresh smelling, clean linens in the bathroom and on the bed, frig, microwave, and pool was ready for use. Only one person enjoying the pool. Recommend the spacious rooms for families. Price was excellent for the one night stay. Will stay here again.

Easy on and off highway location, rooms were a little outdated, but the bedding was clean and there were no bugs, so that's a plus. it was very cheap with a $20 deposit- on a night when OU football is in town so that was pretty convenient

I wouldn't recommend this motel to the devil himself.... They do not clean the rooms! The was left over trash from the previous occupants...We asked for towels and was told he can't give towels, that we had to wash our own!! The only attribute I can say to be factual is the AC worked very well!! The man was absolutely rude and we didn't get our deposit back! They find any and every possible way they don't have to give it to you upon check out.... The room is so not worth the price they charge... The pictures they have on their website is 100% false advertisement!!! Wasted of potential ran by miserable souls! I am surprised it hasn't been condemned...

This is the worst hotel I ever been in my life if I can give negative stars, I will give 20 is smelling dirty everywhere they have cockroaches. They have bed bugs. It’s better to sleep in the car than there. Don’t ever think about sleeping there.
