Such a fun and different vibe for a hotel! Extremely clean and quiet-I almost felt like I was staying overnight in a museum with how clean it was and the cool art pieces displayed throughout. I had the pleasure of staying during the Christmas season and got to see the gorgeous Christmas decorations! The staff was helpful, kind, and made my stay very enjoyable. I came for a quick solo reset trip, so the large and comfortable room was perfect for me. I felt like I was staying in my own loft. Will definitely choose this one again! I also ordered room service from Bodega's in the morning and it was absolutely fabulous.
There were many things that were wonderful about our stay. There were also a few things we felt should have been handled better due to the cost of the hotel. When we arrived, we valet parked but had to get our own cart (a little unusual for the price). The refrigerator was so small, we could not use it. The bathroom door would not stay closed in the suite we were in. The bar did not have the items to make the drinks on the menu they created.. We understood the first night but even the second night, they did not have it.
Positive: Beautiful building. Clean room. Great food, coffee, and attractions within walking distance. Parking was simple and inexpensive in the nearby ramp. The complementary aluminum water bottles and capsule espresso machine are a nice touches. Negative: Be aware that if your room is on the southeastern side of the hotel, there is a lively music venue in the building across the alley that has an open air patio where they play music quite loudly late. Pool is small and pool area was busy.
Great unique hotel, rooms need a bit more lighting but very spacious and bed super comfortable! Love the repurposed space & history of building. Just wish decorations and art would center more around the factory it used to be & not as much "woke" art that Hyatt is famous for 🤣. But all in all a great space! Also want to give a HUGE thank you & shout out to Vanessa in housekeeping, she always had a smile on her face & was super kind. Always asking if we needed anything, greatly appreciated! Give that girl a raise 💗
Very cool hotel, unique and spacious. We had a nice experience except for loud music coming from Jones Assembly from 10:30-1:30 am. Other guests were complaining too and desk clerk was apologetic. Might check Jones’ concert schedule or ask for a room on the opposite side of the hotel. Other than that, it was great. Enjoyed the bar at Mary Eddy’s and breakfast at the Bodego was quick and delicious.
